I've created a little tool for theme designers / VGA users that will allow to perform an automatic transform of ThrottleLancher and ThrottleLock themes from qVGA format to VGA.
The application looks for all the png files inside the specified folder recursively and performs a x2 transformation using high quality bicubic interpolation (that's lot's more smoother than the one performed by PPC devices). Ofcourse this can be used for other app's too.
To use it just select a folder and click on Process (you can always stop the process by clicking cancel). The process will overwritte all the png files so you may better save a backup of the files
.
The app gives info of the time each file process has taken and how much size increase has the file had. In order to make png files smaller after the process I recomend using a tool like PngGauntlet.

I realise that this is a simple tool, but I've been trying to use it on a more complex Throttle Launcher theme and the program keeps falling over. Similarly, this won't change any of the XML files will it? Either way, any help you could offer would be appreciated. I've currently got a wasted inch or so at the bottom of my screen and it's doing my nut!
