Here you are ThrottleLauncher 1.0 RC3! It includes lots of improvements and bug fixes over the previous version. It's now really fast even on VGA and wVGA devices, includes some nice features for theme developers like fade in and fade out effects, animations have been optimized to work smoother... and much more!!
The Light3D theme has also been improved since RC2, now the plugins page doesn't show if you don't have plugins selected, the slide down dialog closes automatically on actions and programs listing is smaller to allow faster access to programs.

Please if you use this app, any feedback will be wellcome and will help in further development and bug solving. To post feedback use this web forum or the XDA developers one (search for the ThrottleLauncher thread ofcourse).
ThrottleLauncher will disable the security checks for 3rd party software from your device. This is necesary because TL uses reflection to load assemblies and the popup dialog will crash the system if it appears.
Prerequisites
CPU: > 200 Mhz
Storage Memory: ~2 MB (depends on the themes installed)
Main memory: ~7 MB (depends on the themes installed)
NET.CF 3.5 installed.
Windows Mobile 5.0 or Greatter.
To use flash plugin you need flashplayer 7 installed.
Any device manufacturer and screen resolutions are supported!!
Instalation
First of all, before installing, please perform a system backup. ThrottleLauncher 1.0 RC3 has followed lot's of 9 prerelases tested by betatesters to ensure your device is safe. Though this software is provided ASIS and without any waranty.
The instalation is really simple. Just copy the CAB file to your PocketPC and navigate with your device's fiel explorer to it's location and execute it from there. You can install the application on any media you want (Main memory, Storage Card, Internal Memory, etc) though using main memory is strongly recomended as it may improve performance.
If you are upgrading from a previous version it's strongly recomended to uninstall it before installing ThrottleLauncher 1.0 RC3.
After installing ThrottleLauncher perform a softreset. When the device has stared up go to StartMenu > Settings > Personal > Today > Items and uncheck every today plugin other than ThrottleToday. ThrottleLauncher will start in your desktop. If you encounter problems when loading ThrottleLauncher, go to Start Menu > Programs > ThrottleConfig and ensure the Light3D theme is selected in the dropdown. Then hit "reload plugin".
- Backup your device data.
- If you don't have a previous instalation skip to point 8.
- Backup your ThrottleLauncher directory if you have a previous instalation, specially if you have a customized theme.
- Unselect the today plugin if you have it activated.
- Softreset
- Uninstall all the previous versions of ThrottleLauncher.
- Softreset
- Copy the cab files you want to install using ActiveSync and continue this steps using your device.
- Install the ThrottleLauncher.cab file.
- Select ThrottleToday as today plugin (Start Menu > Settings > Today) and uncheck all other today plugins.
- ThrottleLauncher must now be showing on your Today screen. Congrats!!

Themes
ThrottleLauncher is a fully customizable UI framework. This means that you can achieve almost anything with it. There are themes making TL work really similar iPhone, WM7, Android, Hero, BBStorm and many other original themes like ConceptFS. BBSmart2D, SwitchBlade or PlanetcureFS. Just look arround this web and the forums... there are lot's of great themes available. Also if you feel brave enough you can create your own theme :).
Widgets
Some of the themes (like the Light3D theme) support widgets. Widgets are small items you can attach to the theme and drag&drop arround. Each widget may have it's own configuration. There are lot's of widgets available at this web and at the forums. Check'em out!
Support
If you need support please try searching the forums for an answer. If you still can't solve the problem don't hesitate to open a support ticket. Answer is not waranted but we will try out best.
Also please follow the trouble shooting guide.
Licenses
ThrottleLauncher is a freeware app, though it does have a licensing system. The free licenses are only valid for a period of 3 months. After that amount of time a red text will apear on the top but everything will continue working normally. Just go and get a new license :).

L siguiera usando a no ser que... :angry-red: Tomé la decisión de hacer la migración desde SPB mobile Shell a Throttle Launcher... Lo probé en mi HTC Touch, y es muy inestable y me puso lento mi móvil... en un día completo no pude usar fluidamente mi móvil, el plugin del today se carga una y otra vez. Probé dos temas: El light3d y el Hero2... muy lentos. No se si es mi movil, pero que bueno que habia hecho caso de la instruccion y tenia un backup de mi sistema. Volvi a SPB mobile Shell. Es mas rapido para mi. Si mejoran eso, fuera LA MEJOR INTERFAZ QUE HE PROBADO EN WM!
