ThrottleLauncher 0.9.3 Beta released!!! Now supports Landscape, Flash and 3rd party Plugins!!

Downloads (use only one of this two instalation methods):

- ThrottleLauncher_DesktopSetup_0.9.3.zip (1.832 KB. Contains desktop instalation exe. Execute it from your desktop computer).

This app is provided as is. It's a beta version so it may contain some bugs (none that I know at the moment of releasing). There has been altough a private betatesting process of one month with more than 50 beta testers and no one has reported any critical bugs, so your device is 99,99% save .

Little Tutorial

First of all remember this app is not a TouchFlo3D port. It's a fully skinable app. You can see some more setups for ThrottleLauncher here:

System Requirements

WM5 or greatter
NET.CF 2.0 (3.5 strongly recomended)
195 Mhz CPU recomended. (The higer the better ;) )
SD instalation is supported but installing to device will make it work faster
2MB free space
To use Flash ensure you've installed FlashPlayer 7 (download here).

Before installing

If you have a previous release uninstall it before doing anything. To do this, disable the today plugin and perform a soft reset. Ensure that everything related to throttle is closed after softreset. Uninstall the previous version.

Instalation

Uncompress the zip file and copy both cabs to the device and execute them from the device in this order

ThrottleLauncher-0.9.3.CAB
TL_TouchFLO3D.CAB

Instalation to device storage is strongly recomended.

What has been installed?

ThrottleConfig: this app is used to configure the other two
ThrottleToday plugin: this app must be started by checking the plugin on the today items list
ThrottleLauncher main app: this is another way of running throttle using and standalone window instead of the today plugin. You can have both running simultaneously and you can make themes that make both app's interact.

How do I start the app?

To run the today plugin go to StartMenu>Settings>Today Items tab and check throttletoday
To run main app go to programs and execute ThrottleLauncher

Configure the app

To configure the app there are two methods:

- Go to StartMenu > Programs > ThrottleConfig. There click on the config button.

- On Throttle, go to the settings tab and click on Touchflo3D icon (the very first one).

Config.xml file has been splited (optionally) into pages xmls.

Weather2Reg. Thanks to alladin as this app idea came from his MortScript. Saves to registry the weather info from Google weather. (to HKLM/Software/ThrottleLauncher/GoogleWeather). Params: "WeatherCity [Madrid,Spain]" "WeatherLanguage [en]" "WeatherUnits [c/f]" "WeatherDTFormat [c# date format]".
Message2Reg. Save to registry the message from the account with the number specified (to HKLM/ThrottleLauncher/Messaging/#AccountName#). Params: "account name [SMS/ActiveSync/...]" "Action [Next/Previous/Refresh/Details/Reply/Exit]". This little app is based on the MAPI api suplied here: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/mobile/PocketPCandSmartphone.aspx.
