Important notes
This app's target is to provide a cool way to lock the device along with some security. For that purpose the device CANNOT be unlocked without the correct code. It's really important to remember the pattern you entered at it's startup. I recomend performin a backup before installing this app. This app is provided 'As Is' and I take no responsibility of possible harm or lost of data derived from it's use.

Prerequisites
- WM 5 / 6 / 6.1/ 6.5. Device.
- Net.CF 2.0 or 3.5 installed
- 1 MB of storage space.
- 2 MB of free mem.
- Will work on any device screen! It's tested to work in qVGA, wqVGA,VGA and wVGA.
- 3D effect will only work on Samsung or HTC GSensor enabled devices.
Instalation
Copy the CAB file to your device and execute it from there ;). Then softreset. You will see some new shortcuts in Start Menu > Programs
Important: install to device memory! The instalation process will ask you to select where to install the application... only device memory is supported on this version. Any other storage will make the application crash.
Configuration
There's a tool called "ThrottleLock Settings" at StartMenu > Programs where you can configure how ThrottleLock works.
The most important ones are the lock automatically and Idle time before lock that will make the device lock when ever you turnoff the device and the timeout is reached.
Skins
The app is fully skinable. You can easyly develop new skins by copying the Default skin to another folder inside the skins folder and replacing the png graphics with the ones you like. You can also change font's and spacings by modifying skin.xml file.
Also the app suports multilanguaje. Spanish, English, French, German and Swedish translations are included (though the configuration tool is only available in english at the moment)... To translate the app to your languaje just copy the texts.txt file to a file called texts_XXX.txt where XXX is the 3 chars ISO code for your languaje and then translate the texts inclued in that file. Respect the line orders and cariage returns, also take care to keep the UTC16 encoding. If you have a translation file and want to share it don't heistate posting it at the forum! I will include it in further releases.

|2011-04-12 05:29:21 muroi have a tp2 from t mobile. how i did is was that i went to the opera internet and then went to the website, clicked download, then saved it to my mem. after that i went to "programs" and taped "search phone", i tiped in "cab" and then installed it. aftyer that go to "programs" tap "all programs" and you will find "throttlelock config" on there. happy setting-changer people:)

But i wanna report a small bug that if u are on lock screen and press the home tab then it will go on home whereas lock screen will be running in background. Turn off the screen and then turn on it will again show u the lock screen.

|2010-07-25 09:23:11 AnonymousI downloaded this and it works. But sometimes, it lags my phone and it will only show the screen after around 10 seconds. Occasionally, the clock cannot be seen and it is replaced by a black area. I'm using a Palm Treo Pro and htctoucher's gloss theme.

|2010-08-13 12:22:33 Patachou - Clock freezeIf I'm on home tab, at the first lock, the clock freeze. I unlock the device and I click on the clock, I can see worldwide clocks and the right hour. When I come back to home tab, the clock doesn't refresh and still freeze. Thanks to fix that, it's a really good soft.

I'm running a HTC TD2 with Win 6.5 & SPB Mobile Shell and ThrottleLock v0.7 works 100%, but I upgraded to v0.9.1 & my phone locks up every time. It seems to be when I have the owner information showing on startup, so all I get on the screen is the TL network, signal & battery indicator at the top & the rest is black. If I tap the screen I get a bleep every time & no other response. The only way to access my mobile is for someone to ring me, then I get the owner information show up after the call, followed by the TL unlock pattern.
I know I can get past this error by disabling the owner info, but I want it showing so I've had to revert back to version 0.7 instead.
Anyone else had this problem or is there another solution that I've not discovered as I do like the look of v0.9.1.

However: 1. the setup screen could only started from the File Manager, as there is no such command on the scren...
2. The LICENCING is not clear, do I have to apply for a licence key? - and if so, how?

But with throttelock, the screen shuts down and locks itself and when the phone moves from the ear during a call, I must first unlock it.
How can I make the screen only to be shut down when a call is in progress and the phone is close to the ear and not to lock the screen, or doe's it have to be fixed in the next update?

I've just installed this great app today to give it a shot .. unfortunately, I made a complicated pattern that I've forgotten .. and now my Blackstone is blocked and I can't unlock it.
Any idea how to solve this issue without hard resetting my device?
